The President sent greetings to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on Easter Sunday. The message reads, in part: “Easter celebrations fill our lives with joy and love, awaken most sincere feelings and inspire acts of kindness and compassion. It is of great significance that, under your guidance, the Russian Orthodox Church continues its centuries-old traditions of devoted service, helping people find faith, guiding them through life, playing an active role in bringing up the younger generation and strengthening the institution of the family.
